Delali Gamor

Delali Gamor is a seasoned marine and coastal conservation specialist with nearly a decade of technical and managerial experience in ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable coastal resource management. As Marine and Coastal Projects Manager at Hen Mpoano, she provides strategic leadership for the organization’s landscape-level initiatives across Ghana’s coastal regions, overseeing multi-site research, field coordination, and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Delali is recognized for her ability to translate complex ecological and social data into actionable insights. She designs and implements robust frameworks for data collection, analysis, and monitoring, ensuring scientific rigor across Hen Mpoano’s marine and coastal projects. Her work directly informs project planning, decision-making, and the development of evidence-based policy briefs targeting improved marine and coastal management.

She ensures the quality and clarity of technical reports, aligning them with donor and stakeholder expectations. She also supports resource mobilization through proposal development and strategic opportunity mapping to strengthen Hen Mpoano’s conservation efforts.

Delali, is currently pursuing a PhD which bridges ecology, climate adaptation, and community resilience. Her academic research complements her field experience and reinforces her commitment to advancing science-based, community-driven solutions that safeguard Ghana’s marine ecosystems and support sustainable coastal livelihoods.
