Thank you for considering volunteering with Hεn Mpoano, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to coastal and marine governance in Ghana. Since 2013, Hεn Mpoano has been legally registered in Ghana, with its headquarters located in Takoradi in the Western Region.
Our journey began between 2009 and 2013 when we operated as the Coastal Resources Center-Ghana, affiliated with the Coastal Resources Center of the University of Rhode Island, USA. During this period, we spearheaded the implementation of the USAID-funded Integrated Coastal and Fisheries Governance (ICFG) Initiative for the Western Region of Ghana. Through this initiative, we worked tirelessly to promote sustainable management practices for coastal and fisheries resources.
