French Global Environment Facility

The French Global Environment Facility (FFEM) was created in 1994 by the French government following the first Earth Summit, to implement sustainable development projects that integrate the preservation of global public goods, international solidarity and innovation in developing and emerging countries. The FFEM promotes innovative solutions in the areas of biodiversity, climate, international waters, land degradation, including deforestation, chemical pollutants and stratospheric ozone.


BUSAC is the acronym for “Business Sector Advocacy Challenge” Fund.

The BUSAC Fund aims at contributing to the creation of a more enabling business environment for development and growth of the Ghanaian private sector. This is achieved by empowering business busac_fundmembership organizations, trades unions and the media, to influence public policy formulation by undertaking appropriate research, developing evidence based policy positions and advocating those positions with government and other private sector institutions/organization that may be targeted by the action.

Ghana Western Region Coastal Foundation (WRCF)

WRCFThe WRCF is focused on helping to build local supply chains, improve stability, and promote inclusive economic development for poor communities in the six coastal districts in Ghana tied to the oil and gas sector. The project will focus on crowding-in private sector corporate funding from oil and gas companies and building trusted relationships between coastal communities and oil and gas companies.
