Jennifer Eshilley

Jennifer Eshilley is the Coastal Landscapes Conservation Officer at Hen Mpoano. She holds an MPhil in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from the University of Cape Coast.

Jennifer has expertise in conducting fisheries assessments in coastal wetlands and mangrove ecosystems, as well as in water quality monitoring and heavy metal analysis in groundwater bodies. She also leads the development and implementation of outreach and educational activities on ocean literacy, engaging schools and communities in marine conservation.

At Hen Mpoano, she facilitates community-based conservation initiatives that promote forest wetlands restoration, sustainable livelihoods, and coastal resilience. Jennifer is particularly passionate about advancing gender inclusion in conservation and strengthening local stewardship of natural resources across Ghana’s coastal regions.
